Quintessential Sonoma cottage – my home for 3.5 months!

After a week of great temps, it finally was ‘cool’ enough that I could wear one of my many pairs of boots without sweating to death! I had to capture the moment, of course — just in case it doesn’t come around again while I’m here!

I’m going to have to get her her own computer — she loves sleeping on whichever of mine is available. Makes it difficult, at times, when I’m using both computers at once!

Jack London slept in a small enclosed porch because he smoked all day and all night – his wife slept in an adjacent porch, much larger than Jack’s.
